Point Reyes Summer Camp

Point Reyes Summer Camp is a natural science camp offering a unique camp experience for kids age 7-16 to explore and discover the magic of Point Reyes National seashore. The wide range of exciting adventures combine the best of environmental education with natural and traditional summer camp experiences. Food waste is composted and recycled, some electricity and hot water is produced using solar panels, and campers learn leave-no-trace ethics while in the field. Campers also pitch in with daily chores such as cabin clean up and an all-camp clean up at the end of the week. Led by experienced Naturalists.

The Environmental Management and Technology Program at Oakland's Merritt College provides green education and job training. Global Oneness Project

The Global Oneness Project is exploring how the radically simple notion of oneness can be lived in our increasingly complex world. Founded in 2006, the Project offers free multicultural stories and accompanying lesson plans for high school and college classrooms. Our award-winning collection of films, photo essays, and articles, explore cultural, social, and environmental issues with a humanistic lens. Aligned to National and Common Core Standards, our curriculum content contains an interdisciplinary approach to learning and facilitates the development of active, critical thinking. Each month, we release a new story and accompanying lesson plan. All of our content and resources are available for free with no ads or subscriptions.
