Broken Glass

Instructions

Broken glass can't be recycled because it would be too dangerous for recycling station operators.

Alternatives

Consider making a mosaic; glass has a lifespan exceeding plastics.

Facts

Most non-bottling glass is made at high heat, or further laminated or layered in the case of plate and safety glass. This makes it incompatible with the various color grades of glass used for nonheated beverage and food storage, which are recyclable.
