Instructions

All fluorescent bulbs are considered hazardous waste. Drop fluorescents and compact fluorescents (CFLs) off at the Berkeley Community Conservation Center, 1231 Second Street (Mon-Sat 9am-4pm). You can call them at: 510-524-0113 Alternately, you can dispose of them at the Alameda County HHW (Household Hazardous Waste) Collection Facility at 2100 E 7th St, Oakland, CA 94606, (800) 606-6606, or any other Alameda County HHW facility.
