Glass Bottles
Instructions
Empty and rinse-out bottles before placing in blue recycling cart. Caps and lids can be recycled as long as they are still attached to the container. Any loose lids should go in the grey cart.
Alternatives
Try to reuse the bottle as long as is possible and hygienic before disposal.
Facts
Glass can be continuously recycled, as there is little loss of quality or purity in the process. Glass dishes, light bulbs, windows, or glass bakeware melt at a different temperature than bottles, and must be separated into landfill.
