Instructions
If the box is greasy, put it in the green cart. If not, make sure it's empty and put it in the recycling cart. When in doubt, just put it in the green cart. Make sure you remove any plastic stickers or items from on or inside the box.
Alternatives
Cut out the greasy spots on the cardboard box and compost them, then recycle the clean cardboard and compost the greasy spots. Or, dine in next time you have pizza!
Facts
Any food soiled paper or cardboard products should be placed in the compost bin. That includes things like wet paper towels or wet/greasy cardboard egg cartons, etc.
