Instructions

If it's ALL paper, place the container and lid in the green cart. If it's paper with a plastic lid or lid band, only the paper part can be composted. Separate the paper from the plastic band: the paper goes to green cart and the plastic band to gray cart (landfill). If it's all plastic, make sure it's empty and clean, then place the container and lid in the recycling cart. When in doubt, place in the gray cart (landfill).

Alternatives

Opt for an edible cone instead of a cup, or dine in if possible.
