You can put everything meat-related in the green compost bin. Make sure any plastic wrap, rubber bands, wires, etc. are removed before putting it in the bin.


Eat less meat and more fruit and vegetables. Leafy greens, beans, legumes, and other meat alternatives are great sources of protein.


If everyone in the U.S. ate no meat or cheese just one day a week, it would be equivalent to not driving 91 billion miles – or taking 7.6 million cars off the road.
