If the box is food-soiled, put it in the green, composting cart. If the box is still clean, make sure it's empty and put it in the blue recycling cart. When in doubt, just put it in the green, composting cart. Make sure to remove any plastic stickers or items on or inside the box. (Small plastic items or stickers go in the grey landfill cart.)

Cut out the greasy spots on the cardboard box and compost them, then recycle the clean cardboard and compost the greasy spots. Or, dine in next time you have pizza!

Any food soiled paper or cardboard products should be placed in the compost bin. That includes things like wet paper towels or wet/greasy cardboard egg cartons, etc.
