Plastic toys are not easily recycled, please place in your gray landfill cart. If there are batteries in your toy, please remove the batteries and dispose of them by dropping them off at the Berkeley Recycling Center (669 Gilman), Emeryville Home Depot, or Rockridge Cole Hardware.
Alternatives
If the toy is in good shape, donate instead. Prioritize quality over quantity, consider wooden toys instead of plastic, and buy second-hand instead of new.
