Popsicle Sticks & Toothpicks

Put the wooden popsicle stick and toothpick in the green compost cart. If the items are made of plastic, place them in the grey landfill cart.


Make your own popsicles with metal or silicone reusable sticks and holders.


One of the first popsicle stick patents dates back to 1924, and the snack was sold at the now-vanished Neptune Beach amusement park on Alameda Island.
