CCSF provides classes, workshops and customized trainings in areas such as construction trades, solar photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal system installation; energy efficiency and weatherization; heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; hybrid auto and electric vehicle (EV) maintenance, diagnosis and repair; alternative fuel vehicle technologies; and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). As part of the statewide ATTE initiative, CCSF-ATTE trains technicians to meet workforce needs in the advanced transportation and energy industries.

The Bike Kitchen teaches people of all ages and backgrounds how to repair bicycles. The Bike Kitchen promotes personal development and provides leadership opportunities. Operating as a cooperative shop, we provide affordable ways to acquire and maintain a bike, encourage re-use and recycling, and work with community groups to get more people on bicycles.

BAHIA

Bay Area Hispano Institute for Advancement, Inc. was established by and for Latino families in 1975 as a non profit organization to address an unmet need; high quality, bilingual learning environments where children grow to become successful lifelong bilingual learners. BAHIA, Inc. operates two childcare centers in Berkeley. They run a full-time toddler and preschool program, after school and summer program for 5-10 yr olds and a part-time bilingual care program for 3-4 yr olds.

California State University, East Bay Continuing Education

Provides professional development training and education for East Bay professionals, offering more than 50 certificate and degree programs in a variety of industries and fields. Programs are offered at three locations - in Hayward, Oakland and Concord.
