Don’t use products with plastic microbeads
Some toothpastes, soaps, body washes, and cleaning supplies contain plastic microbeads for exfoliating or extra cleansing purposes that end up in our oceans, lakes, and rivers. Plastic microbeads don’t biodegrade, and because of their small size are eaten by fish and other marine life, which can kill them. To avoid contributing to water pollution, make sure that the products you use with exfoliants don’t contain plastic, but are rather made from biodegradable material such as pumice, oatmeal, or walnut husks.View the website
