Ecology Center teamed up with Resourceful to provide easy to find and simple to understand instructions to sort your waste like a pro.

Ecology Center’ services

To begin compost or trash/landfill service at your home or business, contact the City of Berkeley’s Customer Service line at (510) 981-7270.

To begin recycling service in a single-family home or a multi-family site of 5 units or less contact the Ecology Center’s Recycling Hotline at (510) 527-5555.

To begin recycling service in a multi-family site with at least 6 units or at a commercial site/business, contact the City of Berkeley’s Customer Service line at (510) 981-7270.
