Instructions
Also known as Tetrapaks. If the carton is made of paper and aluminum foil, with a plastic liner, then it is a mixed material, and it should go to the landfill (grey cart). Any plastic pour spouts go to landfill. If the carton is ALL paper, then make sure it's empty and free of food residue. You can place it in green compost cart. Paper lids go into the green compost cart as well.
Alternatives
Buy soup in a reusable glass bottle or metal can, if possible. Or make your own with local and/or organic vegetables.
Facts
If the carton is made of any combination of paper, plastic and/or metal must be placed in the landfill bin.
