Instructions
Put household batteries in a clear plastic bag and place on top of the landfill bin. If it's a lithium-based battery (Li, Lithium), put some tape over the battery contacts. If you live in an apartment, your building should have an orange battery bucket instead. You can also take to a designated drop off location.
