Instructions

Solidified cooking grease and small amounts (less than ½ cup) of liquid cooking oil can go in the green compost cart. However, for a large amount (more than ½ cup) of liquid cooking oil, please collect it and take it to a designated drop-off station. Reuse cooking oil for additional flavor or try cooking with other liquids like wine or lemongrass juice.

Facts

Never pour fats, oil, or grease down drains; it can solidify and cause sewer backups. Collect used cooking oil in paper, compostable container and place in the compost cart.
